Well, at least not at work. We don’t want to risk getting infectious diseases on it. Lol, just kidding
But Seriously though…I’m married to a real life hero.
She’s always been one, even before she became an ICU RN in 2009 and later a CRNA in 2015. She would tell you that she’s just doing her job, but I can tell you she’s dedicated. She’s dedicated to getting a good night’s rest so she’s 100% ready for the next day, she’s dedicated to completing her continuing education requirements and is always reading, researching, and reviewing old cases and preparing for new ones. She doesn’t accept anything less than a job well done. Ensuring her patients are comfortable before, during, and after their procedure is most important to her.
And it doesn’t stop there.
She’s my hero. Not only has she helped me become a better person, she’s giving me the opportunity to be a Dad. All while simultaneously doing all the above.
My hero wears a N-95 mask and holds the keys to my heart. There might be others like her, but she’s mine.
