No one plans to fail, but many fail to plan…
Isn’t it strange how the days of our lives seem to creep by, but our years seem to zoom by? Maybe it’s the thought that there are 24 hours in a day and only 12 months in a year? Maybe subconsciously we see the larger number which makes it feel like each day passes slowly, or maybe we see 365 days make up a year being larger which equals more time in our minds
What about when you were in school?
College or High School, didn’t you measure graduation in terms of years instead of months or days? Makes it feel shorter, right? (Unless it was days away!) Probably do the same for vacations as well. Remember when you were younger and you would always round up because you wanted to be older? How about now? Lol! I definitely do my best to pretend like I’ve forgotten my age or just pretend like I’m a few years younger or I just learn to walk on my hands to remind myself age is only a number! Remember when your teacher would tell you to stop wishing your life away?
Here’s the thing.
We all have plans & none of them are to fail. Sadly, so many fail to plan for retirement, health, and the future. It’s amazing how someone will tell you, “don’t worry, you have TIME”. I used to hate being told that. Time isn’t some abundant resource at our disposal! No matter the situation, don’t fail to make a plan. Take the time to plan your next steps and what you’ll do to take them!
“Plans are of little importance, but planning is essential.” ― Winston Churchill.
So true! How many of you make ‘planning’ an essential part of you life?
