Our Life Before FIRE,  Our RV Life Journey

Our American Dream

“To me, the American Dream is being able to follow your own personal calling. To be able to do what you want to do is incredible freedom.”
—Maya Lin, architect

When you trade in what you thought you had to do for what you’d rather do…

Exactly what we did in October of 2018.

We felt limited with time. A resource that is non-renewable and can’t be bought. We wanted more of it. Sold my Jeep (😢), put our Nashville house up for rent, and hit the road fulltime. In the last 2 years, we haven’t figured out how to buy more time, we just found out a way to use the time we’re given more efficiently.

We’re incredibly grateful for our nomadic RV journey!

The places we’ve explored, the people we’ve met, the goals we’ve achieved, the struggles we’ve encountered, the challenges we’ve overcome…

Pales in comparison to the time we’ve spent together.
