Our Story

One Year Ago Today

We escaped our RV to avoid a scorching hot summer with both A/C’s running and temps staying consistent at 80 degrees.

One year ago today….

We booked a month long stay in Avinger, Texas at a lakehouse on Lake O’ the Pines.

One year ago today….

We were planning our exit from fulltime RV Life after 3 years of working, traveling, exploring, and starting a family on the road as nomads.

One year ago today….

We decided we weren’t going back to Nashville, TN.

One year ago today….

We had no idea where we would put down new roots.

One year ago today….

Eleanor hadn’t even turned 4 months yet, but had traveled quite a bit already.

One year ago today….

After the Pandemic swallowed my career and laid me off for an entire year, I finally had a brand new job.

One year ago today….

Life was much different than it is today. It’s amazing what a difference one year can make. These days a year ago seemed so challenging, yet amazing at the same time. Through the challenges, we experienced so many blessings in one year since. I can only imagine what one year from now will look like. I’m reminded by this quote,

“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste it, to experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experiences.” — Eleanor Roosevelt

Life is meant to be lived. Do it without fear and don’t hold back.
