Our Story

RV’ing and Pregnancy: 30 Weeks with 9 Weeks to Go!

Over the course of the next 9 weeks we’ll be finishing up all the necessities for baby in our RV.

4D Ultrasound

On Tuesday December 15th, we went for a 4D Ultrasound and we’re so glad that we did! It was an extra cost, but being that this is our first child, we felt it was 100% necessary. Baby has grown! Weighing in at nearly 4 pounds! Based on the current measurements, our baby is projected to weight 8 pounds, 3 ounces on delivery day. Which makes total sense because I was born 9 pounds 1/2 ounce and Meredith weighed 8 pounds 4 ounces, so we definitely believe our baby will have all the rolls!

RV Nursery Progress

We have all the essentials at this moment and we just need to finish setting everything up how it makes sense. I’m sure as things get closer, we’ll realize we need a few other last minute things too. We have our stroller and car seat and Meredith found an ‘origami’ style crib that can easily collapse so we can move it around the RV.

How’s Meredith Feeling?

Mostly doing great. Still coming to the gym 2-3 days a week depending on how work treats her those days. Baby seems to love laying and pressing on her bladder, so she definitely has to make several bathroom stops these days. A few weeks ago, she had some Braxton Hicks contractions but since then she really hasn’t had any. Occasionally, she’ll have some round ligament pain, depending on how much activity she’s involved in.

31 Weeks…Christmas in Mississippi

For Christmas this upcoming week, we’ll be 31 weeks and finally getting to see and visit with our immediate families.  We’ve planned to only visit with our parents and siblings while in town.  We hope to visit Bellingrath Gardens for some Christmas Spirit too, but that depends on how many people are there.  Either way, we’re excited to see our close family during Christmas time, especially after such a challenging a difficult year this year.
