Driving Towards F.I.R.E.

In 2018 we broke up with our past life. Fed up with Interest payments, debt, student loans, etc we decided to make changes. Drastic changes. We set out on a mission for financial independence, bought a RV and traveled fulltime. We worked as nomadic healthcare professionals on the road. In 3 short years of fulltime RV and travel life, we successfully paid off more than $600,000 worth of debt, increased our net worth, changed our financial futures, and started a family. Today, we are still pursuing FI with a focus on retiring early and share our experiences as new parents, real estate investors, property managers, CRNA, Application Specialist, and Financial Coaches. Follow along on our journey!

Domicile, What is it? and How We Receive Mail While Full-time RV’ing

    June 24, 2019 / 2 Comments

In this post, we will cover our experiences with a “Domicile” address, how we receive mail while on the road full-time, some pain points with getting our mail, and some pro-tips and recommendations for those currently on the road full-time as RV’ers or those looking to begin RV Life soon. Domicile – Domicile Definition First let’s define what a Domicile is and it’s primary purpose.  According to Miriam-Webster’s dictionary, a Domicile is simply a person’s fixed, permanent, and principal home for legal purposes.  Furthermore, In the eyes of the law, a domicile can also be a legal residence, the address from which one registers to vote, licenses a car, and pays income tax. …

RV Living Tips, Our Experiences, and Lessons Learned

    June 20, 2019 / 0 Comments

Tips for Travel: When we departed on our full-time RV journey we had only pulled & parked the RV once.  ONCE.  My wife had read about walkie talkies being a common RV’er purchase so we purchased a pair of them off Amazon just before we left.  We cannot express how beneficial having these walkie talkies have been!  We made the decision early to bring Meredith’s car as it would be significantly easier for her to navigate around town and to and from work everyday.  Because we would be traveling in separate vehicles when towing our home on wheels we needed an easy way to communicate to prevent distraction on the…
