A question we usually get after discussing our journey with friends, family, and new acquaintances. We usually respond with a few possible outcomes of what we’d like it to be, but so much of what we do is focused exclusively on the journey.
Our Destination is a Place, but through a different viewpoint
“If we are always arriving and departing, it is also true that we are eternally anchored. One’s destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things”. —Henry Miller
I love this quote because it sum’s up our journey completely. We’ve spent the last 22 months looking at things much different than we did before and that’s what has kept us going. With that said, we started with the intention of living this lifestyle for 12 months with one goal, pay off our consumer and student loan debt. But, once month 12 passed and we met that goal, we started to think ‘bigger’.
Cash Flowing Our Next Home
We plan to cash flow our next home once our RV journey is finished. We don’t plan to RV fulltime for the rest of our days. We plan to pay cash for our next home, no mortgage, no interest, just cash. The road to get there adds significant effort, but that’s our end game. Throughout our journey, we’ve found that there’s three main things that help build wealth and add value to your life. These include: Health & Wellness, Being Debt Free, and Owning Your Home Outright.
Because we chose to look at things differently, we understand what all three above bring us, which is exactly what we strive for…
Being rich with our TIME, spending TIME doing things we want, and taking the TIME to enjoy life. While we don’t have a ‘destination’ per se, we do know what we want and how we’re going to get there.
What’s your end game?
